◆ Quality Series · Part 6
In short: three inspection gates and a controlled release stand between raw material and a shipped box.
Three tiers of inspection
| Gate | What is checked |
|---|---|
| Incoming | Nonwoven weight & appearance, alcohol content, packaging materials |
| In-process | First-article check, fill volume, seal, routine patrols |
| Finished lot | Appearance, size, weight, concentration, fluid volume, fluorescence, efficacy, seal integrity |
Controlled release
- A lot is released only after the batch and quality records are complete, all results pass, and the label / UDI is verified.
- An authorised releaser signs the release — it is not automatic.
- A COA per lot is issued.
- Retention samples are kept and observed (at least 2 years from release).
For buyers — what to ask for: a COA per lot covering the key attributes, and the retention-sample policy. Both are signs of a controlled release, not a paperwork afterthought.
