What "purified water" means here
The only ingredient is purified water held on a nonwoven substrate. There is no alcohol, no antiseptic and no fragrance, so there is nothing to sting broken or delicate skin or to leave a chemical residue. Because water alone supports microbial growth, shelf life and sterility depend on the pack: single-dose sachets and sealed formats protect the contents, and a sterile option can be produced where the application requires it.
Formats and where each fits
Choose the format by application: wipes for larger skin areas and general cleansing, swabsticks for targeted spots and small sites, single-dose sachets for dosed, travel and kit use, and tube packs for pull-out dispensing. Substrate weight and softness are tunable — a lighter spunlace for comfort, a firmer nonwoven for wiping strength.
Purified water vs saline
Saline (0.9% sodium chloride) is isotonic and preferred for wound and eye irrigation and for aftercare such as piercings; purified water is a neutral cleanser where you simply need to lift soil without adding any active. If your range needs an isotonic rinse, see our sterile saline line instead.

Are purified-water wipes sterile?

Do they contain preservatives?
They can be supplied preservative-free — pack format and sterility then protect the contents. Preservative systems are available if your market or shelf-life target needs them.
Purified water or saline for wound care?
For wound and eye irrigation, isotonic 0.9% saline is generally preferred; purified water is a neutral cleanser for general skin cleaning. Follow clinical guidelines.
